Simmer is mostly determined by the upper power. However, in some cases, the simmer fails is due to the pre-burning feedback link doesn’t work. So if it is the first time your clients complain such a problem, please make sure that they have already not only checked the basic connection like to reconnect the 10-pin cable but confirmed the line of pre-burning feedback link is normal (the light is not lit).
If it can’t be simmered yet, you may have to put the simmer panel in a whole machine for a device test with 1000DC. Afterwards, measure the voltages of both sides of the lamp which will lead three consequences as below:
- The voltage is much higher than 400V
- The voltage is between 10V-20V
- The voltage is less than 5V
The first phenomenon means the transformer is damaged, and you need a new one to replace it.
The second represents the main connection between board and simmer board may be wrong or there is a short-circuit in the simmer board. The solution is to confirm whether the 220V track of the main board and the simmer board has burst.
The last one means the components of the main circuit of the simmer board are damaged, such as the capacitors and transformers. But both of the power tubes are not allowed to pass through in the main circuit of the summer as it will result the explosion. It is better to send it back to our factory or purchase a new one.
